Cashin Clancy Solicitors was formed in 2018 following the merger of two long-established Ennis law firms, Cashin & Associates, and, Clancy Solicitors.
We work with individuals and families, businesses and larger commercial entities, throughout Co. Clare and nationwide.

Sheila Lynch
Partner Solicitor
Originally from Killarney, County Kerry, Sheila has a background in the hospitality industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel and Catering Management. After pursuing further studies and qualifications in law, she joined the former practice of Cashin & Associates in 2004 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors with the Law Society of Ireland in 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Limerick, and a Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning awarded by the Law Society of Ireland and is also admitted on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales.
Sheila represents clients in Accidents/Personal Injury and Medical Negligence claims in the Circuit Court and High Court. She has, over the years, developed considerable expertise in the area of Family Law - Separation, Divorce and Childcare (to include representing Guardian Ad Litems). She also specialises in the area of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Wardship, Probate and Administration of Estates.
Sheila regularly contributes to Legal Advice Slots on Clare FM and Legal Articles in the Clare Echo Newspaper. She is a former tutor on a an FEI Prepartory course. She is a former Secretary of the Clare Law Association and former Treasurer of Clare Rotary. Sheila is current President of Ennis Chamber of Commerce.
Pamela Clancy
Partner Solicitor
Pamela hails from Kilkee, West Clare and was awarded honours Bachelor of Arts (English & Economics – NUIG) and Law Degrees before admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2001. Pamela has also been awarded Diplomas in Commercial Law and E-Commerce Law by The Law Society of Ireland.
Having initially gained grounding legal experience working in law firms in Dublin for over 6 years, she returned to County Clare in 2004 and established her own legal practice in Ennis in 2006, specialising in Personal Injuries, Family Law and Employment Law.
Pamela presided as Vice-Chair of The Employment Appeals Tribunal from 2007 to 2017, a quasi-judicial position requiring adjudicatory and legal decision-making skills and using her experience of commercial disputes and employment law. Pamela was also appointed in 2009 by the Mental Health Commission to their Panel of Legal Representatives, and has thus acquired significant experience in the areas of Mental Health Law, Capacity Issues and Vulnerable Clients.
Pamela has a proven track record in successfully representing clients in personal injuries claims with the Personal Injuries Assessment Board, and the Circuit and High Courts. Pamela is also a well-established family law solicitor advocating strongly for the best outcomes for her clients.
Pamela is former Vice-President and President of the Clare Law Association, and is a member and former President of Soroptimists Ireland – Ennis & District branch. She also contributes on legal matters on Clare FM and Legal Articles in the Clare Echo Newspaper
Angela Woulfe
Solicitor
An honours graduate of University College Galway, and native of County Limerick, Angela qualified as a Solicitor and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2012 and joined the form practice of Clancy Solicitors in 2013. Angela is an experienced member of our Property, Probate & Wills Team, acting for both private individuals and commercial clients (including charitable organisations) in property sales, purchases, farm transfers, re-mortgages and leasing of both residential and commercial properties. She is experienced in assisting clients dealing with banks in re-financing and bank restructuring arrangements, including property repossessions and the Mortgage-to-Rent Scheme. Angela also advises clients in Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wardship, Probate and Administration of Estates.
Fiona Burke
Solicitor
Fiona Burke, a native of Galway, joined our team in January 2024 bringing with her a wealth of experience in the areas of conveyancing, family law, wills and probate.
Fiona holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Limerick and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Law Society of Ireland in 2015. She also holds a Certificate of Mediation from the Law Society of Ireland.
Now living in Limerick, Fiona is uniquely positioned to serve clients in the Limerick, Clare and Galway areas, bridging communities with her comprehensive legal knowledge and commitment to exceptional client service in the Mid-West. She has established herself as a trusted legal professional, with an deep understanding of the complexities in her areas of expertise and is equipped to guide clients through even the most challenging legal matters.
Fiona is passionately dedicated and focused on her clients' needs and achieving their objectives. Whether assisting with estate administration, navigating property transactions, or resolving family disputes, Fiona approaches each case with empathy, diligence, and a determination to achieve a favourable outcome.
She is a former board member of Unity Credit Union Ltd. She has also been a volunteer at the Free Legal Advice Clinics provided by Citizens Information.
Mary Mahony
Accounts Manager
A native of Ennis, Mary has been with the firm for over 30 years and manages our Accounts Department and will help you with setting up any payments to be made or received, as seamlessly as possible.
Meriem Kebayli
Legal Intern
Meriem joined our team in 2023 as a Legal Intern. She has a Bachelors (Hons) Degree in Law and Criminal Justice with Spanish from the Atlantic Technological University, Donegal. She is currently studying for the FEI Entrance Exams to the Law Society of Ireland.
